About the Work
I am a UK-based mixed media artist creating heavily textured, emotionally driven work.

My practice is rooted in personal experience - exploring themes of anxiety, identity, resilience and what it means to rebuild yourself after being undone.

Drawing from Scottish, Irish and Channel Island heritage, my work often carries a sense of inherited memory - something felt not always understood.
I work intuitively, using acrylic, modelling paste, charcoal and ink to build layered surfaces that are scratched back, reworked and pushed until they hold something honest.

Recurring symbols - particularly birds - appear throughout my work as messengers of survival, awareness and freedom.

Each piece is less about resolution, and more about what it means to keep going.

I am currently exhibiting at Ocean Bells, and The Pumphouse Theatre in Watford.
